iSpring Contest Project:
Tackling Microaggressions at Work
This microlearning project was created for the iSpring contest, focusing on designing effective eLearning content using iSpring Suite and leveraging its interactive features. To meet the competition requirements, the module needed to:
- be between 12 and 20 slides long
- engage learners with interactive elements available in the tool
- include a quiz and visuals enhanced with assets from the iSpring Content Library
For the project, I chose to address a real challenge in today’s work culture: microaggressions in the workplace and their impact on inclusivity.
- I began by researching the topic to understand common issues and challenges, then wrote measurable and actionable learning objectives focusing on recognising microaggressions, communicating respectfully, and enhancing inclusivity in the workplace.
- Organised the content into a logical sequence to create a smooth and engaging learning flow.
- Designed and built interactive activities such as matching exercises, decision-making scenarios, and emoji-based response options to actively involve learners.
- Used a conversational and approachable tone to make the topic relatable and easy to understand.
- Tested the prototype, gathered feedback, and iteratively improved both content and design to optimise the learner experience.
